IONOS is expanding its dedicated server portfolio and now offers AMD processors in addition to Intel processors. AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 3600, AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 3700 and AMD Epyc 7302P are used.

"AMD has invested a lot in its processor technology in recent years and offers a strong product for dedicated servers and cloud operations in terms of security and performance. With the new offerings, we now offer our customers even more options to choose the right technology for them," says Achim Weiss CEO of IONOS and adds: "They are also very cost-efficient, which we pass on to our customers in the form of favorable prices." 

AMD and Intel offerings complement each other

AMD processors have gained significant market share in recent years. The server segment, in particular, has contributed to this, gaining more than 70 per cent in 2020 compared to 2019. AMD processors regularly perform very well in benchmarks.

The offers with AMD processors complement the existing Intel tariffs. There is now a low-cost entry-level tariff as well as new equipment variants:
