1&1 Announces Collaboration with Intel on Innovative and Secure Cloud Platforms
1&1, the leading web hosting provider in Europe (http://www.1and1.com), today announced a technology collaboration with Intel. Together with Intel, 1&1 will develop and deliver optimized platforms for cloud and datacenter applications with a key focus on performance and innovative security solutions. In an effort to deploy differentiated secure services that will ensure the privacy and security of 1&1’s offerings, 1&1 and Intel will collaborate on a new security-enabled platform leveraging Intel’s Cloud Integrity Technology. This new technology will allow 1&1’s customers better control and visibility over their data hosted in 1&1’s cloud infrastructure.
In addition to security, 1&1 is working with Intel to optimize 1&1’s infrastructure to continuously improve the performance of their cloud offerings.
