Tasks
For our location in Karlsruhe or Berlin we are looking for an Marketing Manager Events (f/m/d) in the Global Event Marketing team.
Your main tasks will be to shape IONOS event marketing:
- Implementation of the annual IONOS event roadmap for marketing-relevant event participations/sponsorships and own events.
- Development of contemporary and longterm marketing communication strategies on different platforms and channels.
- Project management for trade fairs and events: coordination of all departments involved (e.g. marketing, PR, product management, sales, etc.) and external service providers.
- Development and implementation of supplementary marketing measures.
- Management of event-related service purchasing, including negotiation and contract reviews.
- Budget calculation and control; quality control, reporting and evaluation of international event marketing activities.
Qualifications
You have successfully completed a degree in marketing/communications (or similar) or completed training as an event management assistant and have at least three years' experience in marketing communications, (including at least two years in event marketing/organization) or comparable event and trade fair experience.
- A passion for live communication combined with a very structured way of working.
- Independence, ability to work in a team and assertiveness.
- Experience in stakeholder management and service purchasing.
- Communication skills and strong project management abilities.
- Very good organizational skills and process oriented mind set.
- Experience in marketing communication for technical products/hosting.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
