We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager (f/m/d) to join the IONOS Business IT group to lead the rollout of our new international commercial systems program. 

The role requires someone who has a consistent track record of successful high complexity project delivery, has proven ability to manage, influence, and engage a broad group of stakeholders and to align plans with IONOS ' strategic objectives. It is their responsibility to ensure that the program is executed efficiently, within scope, and on budget. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as experience in creating and presenting documentation for senior executives. Ultimately, the Program Managers facilitate change within the organization, leveraging their skills to deliver tangible value through their programs.

Tasks

  • Planning and Execution of the rollout of our international commercial systems program (Order Management, Billing, Payment, Accounting)
  • Resource Coordination: Allocate resources efficiently across the commercial systems to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
  • Problem Solving: Address issues and roadblocks that impact program goals.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress, manage risks, and report on program status to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with and manage expectations of stakeholders at various levels.
  • Budget Management: Oversee financial aspects and ensure programs are delivered within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Commercial Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in program management and/or project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale information technology programs successfully.
  • Prior consultancy background in rollout of international commercial systems or financial systems like Infor or SAP
  • Exceptional leadership and very good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving and conflict managing skills.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Prince2) are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

Languages: German and English language skills are mandatory

Location: Karlsruhe or Berlin
