We're seeking an experienced WordPress Plugin Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress plugins that meet the needs of our customers. Your expertise will help us expand our portfolio of WordPress solutions, enhance our existing products, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test WordPress plugins using PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and top-notch user experience.
• Develop and maintain plugins that are scalable, secure, and compliant with WordPress coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plugin-related issues, providing timely support to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for plugins and related systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress plugin development, with a strong portfolio of plugins and themes.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and WordPress-specific technologies (e.g., WordPress API, WP_Query).
• Strong understanding of WordPress coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize code for performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with WordPress multisite networks, WooCommerce, and other popular WordPress plugins.
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Certification in WordPress development or related fields (e.g., WordPress Certified Developer).
