As the Head of Data Center Network Services you and your team are responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Network Services portfolio for the IONOS group. You are the technical authority for all Data Center Network belongings and ensure delivery of Network functions to your stakeholders and internal customers.

Tasks
- Lead an international and distributed team of highly skilled network experts, team up with Network Reliability Engineering, solution architects, information security leads, software developers and product owners.
- Drive strategic initiatives and guide your team to deliver innovative solutions on our path to hyperscaling Cloud and Open Source networking.
- Provide technical input into product roadmaps and communicate requirements to software development teams.
- Implement security policies and procedures to protect customer data and systems to comply with our wide range of security certifications.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement solutions to maintain the overall network infrastructure availability.
- Take a leading role in project teams as a project manager when required, plan, manage and control the budget for our global Data Center Networks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands on in large scale network environments as a network engineer, network consultant, solutions architect or professional services engineer.
- 2+ years of leadership experience, good team management skills preferably in international environments.
- Thorough understanding of ISP, hosting and cloud industries, network products, vendors and technologies.
- Several years of experience in the implementation, integration, design and architecture of large ISP and cloud networks.
- Profound communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal, ability to interact effectively with engineers, leaders, stakeholders and customers. English required, German is a plus.
- Experience in project management, Problem-solving aptitude.
