Tasks
- Develop and implement strategic project plans to achieve business objectives and drive innovation in IT projects.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver high-impact IT projects on time and within budget. Familiar with corporate PMOs setup is a plus.
- Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and manage risks associated with IT projects effectively to ensure successful project delivery. Deep knowledge of project life cycle management.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management in a clear and timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or PMP / PM2 / Prince II / Agile certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the IT industry, with a track record of delivering strategic IT projects successfully.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities to lead cross-functional project teams.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience with Atlassian suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Residence in Karlsruhe required.
