Tasks

To further drive our international growth, we are looking for a Retention Manager (f/m/d) at our Berlin location.

As a Retention Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for retaining and winning back customers. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that existing customers are retained in the long term. In addition, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Analyzing customer behavior and needs to develop tailored retention strategies.
  • Creating automated processes for recovering potential churn customers and proactively communicating with customers who are at risk of churning.
  • Defining and successfully implementing these strategies/processes across all direct marketing channels (print, email, SMS, online, inbound, outbound).
  • Analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing all measures together with departments based on qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Preparing reports, analyses including recommendations for management.
  • Collaborating with Sales Channel Managers (or other members of the CSM team) to create upsell and cross-sell offers that directly address known customer issues.
  • Being innovative, enjoying change, and being able to inspire people with and for your ideas. Successfully working in a team and with product management, customer service, customer experience, and finance.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for an analytical team player with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of customer relationships.
  • Experience in customer retention or marketing.
  • Experience in the IT industry.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting data and deriving recommendations for action.
  • Your enthusiasm for implementing good ideas and concepts is contagious.
  • You communicate very well in German and English and are a highly motivated team player with a hands-on mentality.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Team orientation and the ability to effectively collaborate with different departments.
  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to drive projects forward independently.
