Tasks

  • Develop and manage integrated media strategies (online & offline) in alignment with corporate and marketing objectives across all brands within the IONOS Group portfolio.
  • Design holistic, brand- and country-specific omnichannel media strategies with a strong focus on brand awareness, while simultaneously acting as growth drivers for performance goals.
  • Independently plan, manage, and continuously optimize national and international full-funnel campaigns in close collaboration with internal teams and media agencies.
  • Analyze target audiences, markets, and competitors to derive data-driven media recommendations.
  • Negotiate, conclude, and continuously optimize media deals and framework agreements with national and international media partners, publishers, and platforms, including evaluation of terms, pricing, and performance.
  • Manage and efficiently allocate the media budget, taking ownership of budget monitoring and reporting.
  • Select, qualitatively assess, and manage relevant media channels, as well as identify and develop new channels and partnerships.
  • Conduct KPI-based performance monitoring and prepare decision-relevant reports and management presentations.
  • Act as the central point of contact and strategic interface between internal stakeholders (marketing, creative, data) and external partners.
  • Strategically align brand and performance initiatives (upper, mid, and lower funnel) to ensure a consistent and seamless user journey.

Qualifications

  • A completed degree in marketing, media, communications, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in media planning, media strategy, or media consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, combined with a solid understanding of media KPIs and their impact on brand awareness and performance.
  • Confident handling of analytics tools (e.g., Looker, SpotEffects) and hands-on experience with the digital marketing platform stack (e.g., DV360, GA4).
  • Strong team spirit, high level of initiative, and confidence in advising internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
