Tasks

• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, robust Go applications tailored to cloud functionalities.
• Develop and maintain the complete DevOps toolchain (Helm Charts, GitHub Actions, GitHub workflows) for your services.
• Establish and maintain high-quality software workflows that enhance our CI/CD pipeline and ensure efficient delivery.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for cloud applications in production environments using the tooling of our internal developer platform.
• Participate in all phases of the software development cycle from concept to deployment, explicitly focusing on cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure the production-readiness of services and operate them in the production environment with high availability; conduct rigorous testing and debugging practices to provide highly reliable and fault-tolerant software.
• Evaluate and incorporate new technologies and software engineering tools into existing platforms to improve service reliability and speed of delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a developer for Golang applications.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Kubernetes in production environments; Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, API resources, and extension patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing Kubernetes operators and controllers and proficiency with Helm and other Kubernetes package management tools.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows; Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience with public cloud providers or private cloud infrastructure and full software development lifecycle, especially in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences; Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectively troubleshoot in production environments.

Good to have:

• Strong analytical skills, with a proven track record in problem-solving and technical innovation.
• Familiarity with cloud security protocols, data encryption, and secure software development.
• Deep understanding of Apache Kafka and distributed event streams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of leading discussions and projects within a multicultural environment.

Languages: Fluency in English is required.
