We are seeking an experienced, skilled and passionate Director of IONOS Cloud Quality Assurance to lead our quality assurance department and ensure that our cloud products and services meet the highest standards of quality, security, and reliability. The Director of IONOS Cloud Quality Assurance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality assurance program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, quality assurance, and software development, as well as excellent leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Director of IONOS Cloud Quality Assurance will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for ensuring that our quality assurance program is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Tasks

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program that ensures the delivery of high-quality cloud products and services.
• Lead and manage several international teams of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Develop and implement quality control and testing procedures both manually and automated to ensure that cloud products and services meet the required standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to the quality assurance program to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the quality assurance program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance leadership role, preferably in a cloud-based technology company.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective quality assurance programs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills as well as excellent management and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, including Cloud infrastructure and platform services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Cloud-based software applications (e.g., SaaS, PaaS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
