Your Tasks

Would you like to gain your first professional experience in a modern digital company where information security plays a central role? Would you like to learn about the challenges of large, distributed IT infrastructures and the organization responsible for them? Then we are looking for you as a working student for our Governance, Risk & Compliance team, which is responsible for the organizational aspects of information security at Mail & Media.

• You will carry out security-relevant data analyses and prepare the results in a target group-oriented manner to support conscious decisions.
• You will continuously create and optimize the reporting of security metrics.
• You automate recurring tasks with the help of scripts.
• You will take on various coordination tasks, such as organizing appointments or tracking work packages.

• You are studying (business) informatics and are already enrolled in at least the second year of your bachelor's degree or in master's program.
• You see yourself as an all-rounder and are interested in both the technical and economic aspects of information security.
• You have solid technical knowledge, practical experience with programming languages such as JAVA, Python or JavaScript, and are familiar with common developer tools (Git, build tools, etc.).
• You are characterized by an analytical and structured way of working, and you enjoy working successfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
• You have a high level of motivation and a hands-on mentality, like to go the extra mile, and continue to educate yourself independently.
