Your Tasks
Are you looking for an exciting management position in which you are responsible for the technical, disciplinary and results-oriented management of a team of 10 IT experts with a focus on storage technologies and solutions? - Development and prioritization of team goals as well as further development of team members, in particular for the independent planning, control and implementation of tasks and projects.
- Coordination of troubleshooting measures as part of our emergency and incident management.
- You will recognize potentials for further development of our infrastructure with your depth knowledge of Linux, servers and storage.
- Evaluate new technologies and trends and carry out proof-of-concept tests to check their suitability for productive use in the company.
- Ensuring overarching and successful collaboration with departments and stakeholders across team boundaries.
We Appreciate
Have you already worked for several years as a systems engineer (f/m/d) in large, highly available Linux environments? Do you already have basic leadership skills and want to lead a cross-functional team? Then send us your application!
- Several years of leadership experience in an IT Operations/DevOps team with a focus on people management and team development.
- Strong knowledge of OpenSource technologies, especially Linux, storage and backup.
- Practical experience in the operation and automation of secure and highly available Linux server farms.
- Know-how in the operation of modern Infrastructure-as-Code architectures based on K8s, Docker, git config management and metrics-based monitoring.
- Strong communication skills and empathy in dealing with colleagues and customers as well as strong decision-making skills.
